Okay, so I use Advil and find that it works very well for me with killing off migraines. So I've found it interesting that there's a feature on the 7.30 Report tonight about iboprufen, which is the main working element in Advil.
Apparently one in five people will have adverse effects due to taking pain killers with iboprufen in them. Freaky rashes, eye bleeding, death... oh goodie! I often find that although they kill the pain, I always feel extra-tired afterwards for the next couple days.
So, technically, iboprufen has more of an impact than RU 486 has in terms of "dangers" to those who take it. And there's not some kind of political uproar about ibuprofen either having the Federal health minister control its usage or not. Hmmm...
Then is it really relevant to say that RU486 is not an issue entirely related to abortion rather than the actual drug itself and its elements, impact, etc? Really this is down to the abortion side of things. But such is life, I suppose... It'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

Yup, life's more tenuous than we probably realise most of the time :)
