I'm not the only one who wants Howard to be unelected! And I'm not the only one who thinks Australia is worse off for having him as a Prime Monster. Still fail to understand why people are so idiotic as to forgive him for his insane policies on social structures like university education, health, etc for there being a "good" economy, which really isn't caused by him.

Economic wealth but social poverty... think about it. Good in the long term? I think not!

Anyhoo...

This really makes me think that we need a decent opposition party. As someone posted on the comments, you're only as good as your opposition. The current opposition party would be much better off under Julia Gillard's leadership. Currently it's got all the power of an anorexic cream puff. High time for the Labor party to grow some bollocks, become a decent opposition with strong policies that reflect the interests of Australia and its people (we can but hope that they're paying attention to what people hate about John Howard's policies) and get focused on winning the election next year!

Oh, and Labor? Please don't forget to do something about our social systems. And focus on the climate change issue. And saying "Sorry" to the Aboriginal people. And not lying about everything like the current Prime Monster does. PLEASE do something to make us proud. I mean, I'm still traumatised by the fact that I once thought that the Liberal party wasn't too bad!!! Mind you, I was young then. But that memory has to go *shakes head*

And on another note, why doesn't the GG do something like what happened to Gough Whitlam to the current government? I mean, look at the Tampa stuff, children overboard, WMDs, AWB, deporting Australian citizens, human rights abuses, etc...
